Christopher Hamper is a provider for the rare neurologic disease Kleine-Levin Syndrome

Chris Hamper was born in North Dakota and raised in Satellite Beach and Melbourne, Florida. Early on, Chis was exposed to healthcare through his mother who was a well established, lifelong nurse, which sparked his interest in the medical field. To explore this, Chris became a licensed Emergency Medical Technician in Melbourne, Fl. before introduced to the P.A profession.
Mr. Hamper committed to Nova Southeastern University’s P.A. program’s charter class of 1995. Throughout his academics, Chris was always an individual who wanted to know as much as he could about everything he could. Knowing this, he found Internal Medicine to be the perfect fit, and this left him to find Baqir Syed M.D, an internist located in his home in south Florida, who Chris has been practicing with ever since.
In addition to his dedication to his regular Internal Medicine practice, Mr Hamper is a provider for pediatric and adult patients with Kleine- Levin Syndrome  ( KLS), an extremely  rare neurological disorder, and welcomes patients both in person and via- telehealth. Chris is also affiliated with Jupiter Medical Center and Palm Beach Gardens medical Center, and helps lead the day-to -day operations of Jupiter Lakes Physician Group with Dr. Syed.
There is a lot more to Chris than medical expertise. He is a dedicated husband, father of 3 great kids. In his free time, Chris enjoys time with family and his wife Ruth, some of his favorite hobbies are skydiving and fishing.
